People & permissions

Four account types, and permissions you compose yourself

An institute isn't just admins and students. Trainers need to teach without touching billing, markers need scripts and nothing else, and parents need to see their child's progress. Learn360 lets you build exactly those roles.

Account types

Everyone gets the view that suits them

  • Admin

The full platform: catalogue, users, roles, commerce, branding and every report.

  • Trainer

Content, live classes, assignments, marking and the cohorts they teach.

  • Student

Enrolled courses, exams, assignments, notes, certificates and support tickets.

  • Parent / Guardian

A read-only window onto their child's attendance, assignments and results.

Roles & permissions

Dynamic roles instead of fixed job titles

Rather than three hard-coded admin levels, Learn360 lets you create roles and assign exactly the permissions each one needs. A finance officer who never sees content. A content editor who never sees money. A branch manager scoped to their own campus.

  • Create as many roles as you need, named for how your institute actually works.

  • Granular permissions assigned per role.

  • Change a role once and everyone holding it updates.

  • Least privilege by default — nobody carries access they don't use.

Parent portal

Parents can see for themselves

Link a guardian account to one or more students and the questions that fill your phone lines answer themselves. Parents see attendance, assignment status and exam results without needing to be told.

  • Attendance — online sessions and on-campus classes.

  • Assignments — what's due, what's submitted, what's graded.

  • Exam results as they're released.

  • Multiple children under one parent account.

Bulk operations, because September exists

Onboarding a new intake one account at a time isn't a plan. Learn360 handles user creation, enrollment and account status in bulk, so an admissions cycle takes an afternoon rather than a fortnight.

  • Bulk user upload — create hundreds of accounts from one file.

  • Bulk enroll and unenroll students into courses.

  • Bulk activate and deactivate accounts at the end of a term or a contract.

Account integrity

One account really does mean one student

User management and content protection meet here. Device binding and the block on simultaneous logins are enforced at the account level, so a single set of credentials can't quietly serve a whole class.

  • Device binding — limit an account to a set number of devices.

  • No simultaneous logins from the same account.

  • Admins can release a bound device when a student genuinely changes phone.
